Richmond Hill, Ontario – Prince Edward Island lead the country in its percentage of new-vehicle sales in October 2010, when compared with the same period in 2009, according to industry analyst Dennis DesRosiers, as well as in year-to-date 2010 sales.

The West remains the underperforming region, DesRosiers said, with sales down in October, although the year-to-date sales remain positive.

Ontario and Quebec sales are up, but still well below peak sales from a couple of years ago, DesRosiers said.
