Certain vehicles equipped with a V8 engine, operated in conditions of below-freezing temperatures combined with low humidity, may suffer an electrostatic discharge at the fuel rails. If this occurs, the engine’s Electronic Control Unit could be affected such that engine stalling could result. Dealers will install two additional ground cables between the fuel rails and the ground connection of the ignition coils.

2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Vehicles affected: 176
On certain vehicles, the rear outboard seatbelt locking mechanism may not perform as designed for use with older non-LATCH child restraints. When using the newer LATCH-equipped restraints, the rear seatbelt is not utilized. Dealers will replace the rear outboard seatbelt assemblies.
