Opel to introduce small roadster in 2004
Russelsheim, Germany – Opel announced that it will introduce a compact coupe-roadster in 2004. The sporty two-seater will feature an electro-hydraulically operated, retractable steel roof.
“This car is another milestone on our way to having attractive niche-models account for around 20 percent of our product range,” explained Carl-Peter Forster, Chairman and Managing Director of the Adam Opel AG. “With its retractable-roof, the Opel coupe-roadster promises buyers lots of fun.”
The new roadster will be built by French coachbuilder, Groupe Henri Heuliez S.A. The name of the roadster will be announced at a later date.
