Mississauga, Ontario – RBC Insurance has announced it is upgrading the Accident Protection option available to drivers in Ontario, which offers savings as a reward for maintaining a clean driving record.

Upon purchasing the option, a driver’s first “at-fault” collision will not affect the RBC Insurance policy. Effective immediately, clients will be able to add the option throughout the policy term, without having to wait until policy renewal. The option costs $50 per year and must be purchased prior to an at-fault collision.

The extra protection is offered to qualified Ontario drivers who have not had any at-fault collisions within the last six years, subject to certain conditions. The option will also be available in several other Canadian provinces over the coming months. For more information, visit RBCInsurance.com.
