Stoney Creek, Ontario – CAA’s Travel Store in Stoney Creek, Ontario is asking for the public’s help to stock the shelves of the Stoney Creek Community Food Bank. The auto club has teamed up with the Stoney Creek Lions Club to assist the food bank, which serves about 600 people per month.

The goal is to collect enough canned goods and other non-perishable food donations to fit into a CAA Battery Assist van.

Donations of any size can be dropped off at the CAA Store at 163 Centennial Parkway North in Stoney Creek on Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., up until December 23, 2011.

The CAA and Lions Club will also be collecting canned goods along the route of the Stoney Creek Santa Claus Parade on December 3.
