Rolle, Switzerland – Nissan will make the global premiere of its all-new Global Compact Car and the Juke small crossover at the Geneva International Motor Show, along with the first European showing of its Leaf electric vehicle.
The Global Compact Car will replace the Micra. It is the first new model to be developed on Nissan’s all-new V platform. Sales will begin in Thailand in March, with European sales starting in the fall.
The Juke, which Nissan previously announced will be sold in North America and Japan as well as Europe, is the third member of the company’s crossover family. The top-of-the-range model will use a new 1.6-litre turbocharged direct injection gasoline engine, available with Nissan’s All-Mode 4×4 system with torque-vectoring technology.
At the show, Nissan will also present its Qashqai midsize crossover, which has undergone an extensive redesign, the refreshed Pathfinder and Navara, and the first European showing of the 370Z roadster.
