Nissan unveils all-new X-Trail in Geneva

Geneva, Switzerland – Nissan has revealed the all-new X-Trail compact SUV at the Geneva Motor Show. Sold in over 150 different markets, the new X-Trail will go on sale across Europe this summer; Nissan sold 138,000 X-Trail models in 2006.

The X-Trail was sold in Canada in model years 2005 and 2006, but was discontinued for 2007 with the introduction of the all-new Rogue. The model was never sold in the U.S.

The new X-Trail continues Nissan’s product offensive in Europe, which started in 2006 with the launch of the Note and, more recently, the all-new Qashqai small crossover vehicle.

The company also showed the new, updated 350Z, which receives a more powerful, next-generation 3.5-litre V6 engine, raised hood profile, new interior trim and new exterior colours.
