Nissan to recall approximately 650,000 vehicles
Washington, D.C. – Automotive News reports that Nissan will recall more than 650,000 cars in the U.S. and Canada to reprogram a faulty engine control module that can cause the engine to suddenly stop running.
The affected Nissan vehicles are 2002, 2005, and 2006 Altimas and Sentras with 2.5-litre four-cylinder engines.
Owner notification is expected to begin in early December.
