Nissan’s compact CUV will be fully unveiled in Frankfurt.

Next month’s IAA Frankfurt is primed to host a number of world premieres, Nissan included.

The next Nissan Rogue is due next year and Frankfurt is where Nissan will show off the new sheetmetal. But, so far, they have only shown us this solitary render of a headlight.

Expect the next Rogue to continue on with the same or similar powertrains as the current model with the addition of a hybridized version a year after the reworked model’s initial release.

A hybrid Rogue will more than likely get a version of the same system used in the Pathfinder Hybrid, but with a normally aspirated 2.5L four-cylinder engine instead of the Pathfinder’s supercharged unit.

Expect the new Rogue to start hitting dealer lots in early 2014.
