Tokyo, Japan – Nissan Motor Company, in partnership with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, has unveiled the Pivo electric car concept at the company’s Nissan Ginza Gallery in downtown Tokyo.

The car, which will be on display at the Tokyo Motor Show, features a cabin that revolves 360 degrees, eliminating the need to reverse. It also includes an Around View Monitor which displays outside surroundings on the inside of the car’s A-pillars, and a dash-mounted infrared commander, allowing the driver to operate the navigation and stereo systems with finger movements, without letting go of the steering wheel. Power is provided by Nissan’s compact, high-performance lithium-ion battery.
