Mississauga, Ontario – Nissan Canada has announced a new Facebook page and dedicated Twitter account for the all-electric Nissan Leaf. The online community will bring together Leaf advocates and supporters, and provide the opportunity for discussion around the vehicle and electric mobility in general.
“Canadians have already demonstrated their avid interest in the Nissan Leaf with thousands of hand-raisers already signed up on our consumer Web site,” said Judy Wheeler, director of marketing for Nissan Canada. “We’re now taking this one step further and providing an interactive forum in which fans can interact, ask questions and learn more about the revolutionary Nissan Leaf.”
The Facebook page and Twitter account (@NissanLEAF_CAN) will share up-to-date news and information on all things related to the Leaf’s arrival in Canada this fall. A dedicated moderator from Nissan will manage the accounts, answering questions and engaging in conversation with fans across Canada.
The expanded digital strategy builds on the existing Nissan Leaf microsite, which launched in April 2010.
