Mississauga, Ontario – Nissan Canada has announced pricing on the all-new 2009 Cube, which will start at $16,998. The new model goes on sale this spring.
All Cube models come standard with air conditioning, privacy glass, full power features, Vehicle Dynamic Control System, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and six airbags.
“Cube is a truly unique vehicle and in keeping with this, Nissan is offering an extensive list of standard features seldom seen in this vehicle segment,” said Jeff Parent, vice-president of sales and marketing, Nissan Canada. “Cube offers exceptional value and expressive design that makes a big statement, in a small package.”
The Cube is built on Nissan’s proven B-flatform and is available with a 122-horsepower, 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine in S or SL trim. The S model offers a choice of Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission, or a six-speed manual transmission. With the CVT, the Cube is rated at 6.5 L/100 km (43 mpg) on the highway.
The SL comes standard with Xtronic CVT and includes 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, automatic climate control, iPod interface system, and Intelligent Key with pushbutton ignition. An optional tech package adds Bluetooth, Rockford Fosgate subwoofer with six upgraded speakers, XM satellite radio, and rear backup sensors.
The 2009 Cube will be offered as the S with manual transmission at $16,998; S with CVT at $18,298; the SL at $20,698; and the SL with Tech Package at $21,498.
