Nissan announces details of all-new GT-R

Tokyo, Japan – Nissan has announced details of the all-new GT-R, the replacement for the Skyline GT-R which it will reveal at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. The GT-R will eventually be sold worldwide; the company has launched a dedicated Web site at GTRNissan.com.
While previous generations of the car were known as the Skyline GT-R, the new vehicle will be known simply as the Nissan GT-R in all global markets. The car will be launched first in Japan and will have a starting price from around 7.8 million yen.
In support of the GT-R, the company has also announced the establishment of 160 Nissan High Performance Centers in Japan, which will provide specialist sales and servicing support for customers.
