Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann confirms upmarket aspirations
According to Automotive News, the next generation Buick Regal — known as the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia in Europe — may be getting a very aggressive and upmarket look when it debuts sometime in 2017.
“You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia,” said Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann when talking to AN, referring to the Opel Monza concept revealed last year.
The aim is to make the midsize offering more premium.
The Insignia will also become the next Holden Commodore in Australia when local production ends in 2017.
