New York Auto Show unveils its 2003 web site
New York, New York – The organizers of the New York International Automobile Show (April 18-27, 2003) have unveiled their 2003 consumer web-site: http://www.autoshowny.com. The new site offers a first look at the cars and trucks that are headed to New York. It also offers a comprehensive online new vehicle image database, auto show facts and figures, an online shopping mall, plus the popular auto trivia quiz.
Starting February 15th, it also saves show-goers time by allowing them to buy online tickets in advance. The Show opens to the public on Friday, April 18th and runs until Sunday, April 27th.
“Whether you’re purchasing tickets, browsing the picture gallery for your next car, or looking for directions to the Javits Center, autoshowNY.com is the place to go,” said Show Director, Candida Romanelli.
The Site’s new vehicle gallery includes photographs, product specifications and technical information about cars and trucks from over 40 vehicle manufacturers, as well as dozens of images of the latest concept cars. Also new for 2003, a World Report section gives visitors a glimpse at some of the vehicles that the rest of the world is driving.
Trivia buffs can test their automotive knowledge and win prizes by entering the daily Trivia Challenge contest, and the well-organized can map out their visit to the Show in advance by checking out the easy-to-view floor plans.
“For those interested in never-before-seen cars and trucks, check back on April 16th and 17th when the automobile manufacturers will be unveiling dozens of new vehicles to the world’s press. We will be posting photos of these debuts as they happen. See them first at www.autoshowNY.com,” concluded Romanelli.
