Team in Mulhouse, France straps a hydrogen peroxide rocket engine to a mountain bike for speed record.

This is what happens when you have engineers living in a country where motorsport is illegal.

A Swiss engineer has developed a hydrogen peroxide rocket engine and, along with a team, strapped it to a mountain bike to set a fastest speed record.

How fast? Try 263 kph. At this speed, the rider is covering 70 metres of ground every second and apparently blowing doors of Subarus in the process.
