Ottawa, Ontario – Transport Canada has released its latest recalls, which may affect some Porsche and Nissan vehicles, some Goodyear tires, and some Safety 1st child car seats.
2011 Safety 1st Onside Air LX (22142CAGK)
Units affected: 296
An incorrect seat pad was installed on certain child seats. The pad lacks slow-recovery, energy-absorbing material and the French-language airbag warnings required by Canadian regulations. Consumers are advised to call Dorel at 1-800-544-1108 to request a replacement seat pad and instructions for installation.
2009 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor LT235/80R17, LT245/75R17, LT265/70R17, LT275/70R18, LT285/70R17 and LT325/60R18
Units affected: 10,000
Certain tires may experience partial tread separation. Goodyear dealers will replace the affected tires.

On certain vehicles, the headlamp assemblies may not have been secured correctly during vehicle assembly, and could loosen and detach from the vehicle. Dealers will replace the headlamp locking components.
2003-2005 Infiniti Q45
Vehicles affected: 139
Certain vehicles may develop increased electrical resistance in the intermediate connector for the seat-mounted side bags. As a result, the airbags may not function as intended, causing the instrument panel warning lamp to illuminate. Dealers will change the mounting location of both side airbag intermediate connectors, and add epoxy to prevent movement inside the connectors.
