Mazda_BT-50_2010_Sketch01__jpg300[1]Hiroshima, Japan – Mazda will hold the global unveiling of its all-new BT-50 compact pickup truck at the 2010 Australian International Motor Show in October. The new model was developed from the ground up and is presented as an “active lifestyle vehicle” that overturns the conventional image of a compact pickup truck with its modern styling.

The BT-50 will be a global model that will also be sold in Europe, the company said.

Mazda will also display its range of next-generation Sky Concept powertrains, part of its commitment to reduce its overall fuel economy levels by 30 per cent by 2015 when compared with 2008 levels.
