Windsor, Ontario – Perhaps more surprising than DaimlerChrysler Canada’s announcement yesterday that they are offering a 2006 Dodge Caravan for just $17,995 (plus $1,200 Freight) is the fact that the low-priced model is not a ‘stripper’. It includes a standard 3.3-litre V6 engine, four-speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, AM/FM/CD player, two sliding rear side doors, 15-inch tires and wheels and 7-passenger seating with removeable second and third row seats with roller wheels.
Built at the company’s plant in St. Louis, Missouri, the limited-production “Canada Value Package” short-wheelbase Dodge Caravan is now the lowest-priced minivan in Canada.
