Laval, Quebec – A new Canadian product and service, Odotrack, automatically logs vehicle mileage and records motor vehicle expense reports for management and tax purposes, eliminating the need for a manual log book.

The system consists of a unit that is kept in the vehicle and plugged into the car’s adapter. When the vehicle is started, the operator pushes a button to indicate if the trip is business or personal. The route is tracked by GPS and logged automatically. The user can then download all analytical reports, including the automatic production of the necessary tax forms, from the company’s website. In general, the cost is less than $1 per day per unit.
