New 2007 Lincoln MKZ debuts with price under $40,000

Oakville, Ontario – Ford of Canada has announced that the 2007 Lincoln MKZ will debut with a base price of $37,899, and will have a new powertrain warranty. The MKZ (pronounced “Mark Z”) is the renamed version of the Lincoln Zephyr, introduced in 2006 as a variation on the Ford Fusion sedan.

The MKZ uses a new fuel-efficient 3.5-litre V6 with six-speed automatic transmission, and is priced at $37,899 for front-wheel drive and $39,899 for all-wheel drive models. The new warranty coverage is fully transferable, covers powertrain components for six years or 110,000 km, includes roadside assistance, and has no deductible.
