Natural Resources Canada offers tips for Road Safety Week
Ottawa, Ontario – As part of Road Safety Week, May 15 through 21, Natural Resources Canada is urging motorists to adopt safe and fuel-efficient practices when driving.
The tips include avoiding aggressive driving, which can increase fuel consumption by up to 39 per cent; reduce your speed; avoid “jackrabbit” and hard stops; keep your vehicle in good condition; and check your tire pressure once a month. For more tips, visit www.vehicles.gc.ca.
