Oakville, Ontario – The Ford Motor Company of Canada’s sales are 1.2 per cent ahead of the first three months of 2004, led by sales of the all-new Mustang, which has posted its fourth straight monthly sales increase and its best March since 1994.
Ford reported an overall monthly sales total of 18,949 cars and trucks in March, down 12.1 per cent from the same month last year. Car sales posted their first decrease of the year, down 9.1 per cent at 5,273, while truck sales were off 13.1 per cent at 13,676 units.
