Toronto, Ontario – Motion Custom Car Show will make its debut this weekend, March 27 to 29, at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The show will feature a rare appearance by actor John Schneider of The Dukes of Hazzard, and seminars by celebrity car builder Stacey David of the television show GearZ.
The Motion show takes its name from an event started in the 1970s, and replaces the Speedorama show that last ran in January 2008. Presented by Mothers Polishes & Waxes and Canadian Tire, the show will cover 109,000 square feet of floor space, and will feature hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, classic cars, and imports.
Highlights include 1970s-style show car Inexcess II, Canadian pull champion Air Force One, the Canadian Valve Cover Racing Championship, 2008 Sportsman Drag Racer of the Year Ted Barnes, Ralph Gilles’ Targa Newfoundland Dodge Challenger, and six Knight Rider replicas from the Canadian KITT Car Club. The first 1,000 children through the doors on Saturday and Sunday will receive free Hot Wheels toys.
