Montreal, Quebec – The Charity Preview evening at the Montreal International Auto Show has raised $527,861.01 for local hospital foundations.

The event, held January 12, benefits five causes within the Greater Montreal’s medical community: Fondation du CHUM, the Montréal Sacré-Coeur Hospital Foundation, the McGill University Health Centre Foundation, the Pierre-Boucher Hospital Foundation and the Santa Cabrini Foundation.

Since the first event in 2005, the Charity Preview has raised more than $2.8 million for hospital foundations in the Greater Montreal Area health care community.

The 2012 event, hosted by comedian and car enthusiast José Gaudet, attracted 3,467 attendees and included music, dinner, prizes and a silent auction that raised $24,900.
