Montreal auto show moves to January from November

Montreal, Quebec – The 2004 Montreal International Auto Show returns to its traditional January time slot after being held most recently in November, 2002. “We are happy to go back to January..” said Andre Dorais, President of the 36th edition of the Auto Show. Show dates are January 9 through 18, 2004. The show will again be held at the Palais des Congres de Montreal.

“The Auto Show team is currently working very hard to make sure people will enjoy a truly captivating Auto Show experience, and they’ll be able to do it on the three levels of the Palais des Congress,” said Dorais.

One of the exhibition halls will be completely dedicated to tuning, said Dorais. The show will also feature racing cars and running footage of the best car films ever shot in a specially-designed cinema. It’s expected that carmakers will present about 650 new models on all three levels of the Palais. A free Childcare Centre will be available for parents of two to 10-year-olds who want to attend the Show.

The Montreal International Auto Show is organized by the Montreal Automobile Dealers Corporation (MADC).
