Mitsubishi to unveil Concept-X at Toronto auto show

Toronto, Ontario – Mitsubishi will unveil its Concept X at the Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) in Toronto on February 14. The Concept X, recently shown at the Detroit auto show, is a prototype of the next generation Lancer Evolution (Evo X) that will become available in the first quarter of 2008.

The Mitsubishi Concept-X is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder DOHC MIVEC intercooled-turbocharged engine and features “Super All Wheel Control” (S-AWC), the latest Mitsubishi Motors four-wheel drive technology with Active Centre Differential (ACD) and Super Active Yaw Control (AYC) components from the Lancer Evolution IX, plus Active Brake Control, Active Steering Control and Roll Control Suspension technologies.

Featured alongside the Concept X will be the all-new 2008 Lancer compact sedan, all-new 2007 Outlander SUV and the Endeavor Ralliart Concept along with Mitsubishi’s entire 2007 model line up.
