Maple, Ontario – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) has announced the opening of its newest dealership, in Maple, Ontario.

The new store, Maple Mitsubishi, is located at 233 Sweet River Boulevard in Maple, under dealer principal Joe Zanchin.

“We are very pleased to welcome Joe Zanchin and his Mitsubishi team to our dealer family,” said Koji Soga, president and CEO of MMSCAN. “Maple is a dynamic and growing community northwest of Toronto with a population of more than 50,000 people. As part of the city of Vaughan, it remains one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.”

Zanchin, who came to Canada from Italy and opened his first dealership in 1973, now oversees 18 dealerships in the Greater Toronto Area and has two more under construction. His Zanchin Automotive Group is the first in the region to install a private commercial wind turbine to help operate his dealership. “Vehicles have always been negatively associated with emissions,” he said. “I’m setting a tangible example by implementing wind energy for the new generation. There is no dispute we need to be responsible about our environment.”

Mitsubishi currently has 76 dealerships across Canada, with plans for further expansion next year.
