Mitsubishi Canada announces prices for 2003 models
Toronto, Ontario – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc. (MMSCAN) today announced suggested retail pricing for most 2003 models which go on sale September 3rd.
The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) announced today include pricing information for the Mitsubishi Lancer, which is expected to be the brand’s leading volume car in Canada, priced with a MSRP under $16,000.
“Our sedans, coupes and SUVs will be made available with standard
feature-packed trim levels and option groupings that meet every need and budget from the value-for-money Lancer to the rugged, athletic flagship Montero,” said Randy Sears, President MMSCAN.
The Lancer, Galant, Eclipse, Eclipse Spyder convertible and Montero Sport will be joined later in September by the Outlander, the new entry level SUV, and the Montero, said Sears. “This product line will grow to 10 vehicles in the next 12 months, followed by a new model launch each year for the next five years. This extraordinary product roll-out offers Canadian consumers affordable and stylish alternatives,” Sears said.
The Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price for MMSCAN’s 2003 product line is as follows:
The Lancer will range from a base MSRP of $15,997 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $22,915. The vehicle is available with either 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Available options include remote keyless entry, fold-down rear seatback, anti-lock braking system and front side air bags.
The Eclipse coupe will range from a base MSRP of $23,857 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $36,037. The vehicle is available with either 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic or 4-speed Sportronic(tm) transmission. Available options include 210-watt premium audio system with seven speakers, power sunroof, security alarm system, leather front seating surfaces, 12-way adjustable driver seat, dual front side air bags, anti-lock braking system, compass and temperature display, and traction control.
The Eclipse Spyder will range from a base MSRP of $34,887 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $42,737. The vehicle is available in either 5-speed manual or 4-speed Sportronic(tm) transmission. Available options include 210-watt premium audio systems with seven speakers, dual front-side air bags, anti-lock braking system, leather front seating surfaces, power driver’s seat and traction control system.
The Outlander equipped with AWD will range from a base MSRP of $26,757 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $31,653. Pricing for Outlander 2-wheel drive models has not yet been released. All Outlanders will feature a 2.4-liter SOHC engine mated to a 4-speed Sportronic(tm) transmission. Available options include 210-watt Mitsubishi/Infinity AM/FM/CD player with six speakers, 16-inch alloy wheels, heated leather seating surfaces and auto-dimming mirror with compass and temperature display.
The Galant sedan will range from a base MSRP of $23,097 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $33,287. The vehicle has a 4-speed automatic transmission. Available options include heated sideview mirrors and traction control system, leather seating surface and shift knob, power driver’s seat, power sunroof, anti-lock braking system and integrated fog lights.
The Montero Sport will range from a base MSRP of $32,497 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $41,937. The vehicle has 4-speed automatic transmission and A4WD. Available options include tinted windows, remote keyless entry, power sunroof, 210-watt premium audio system, heated leather seating surfaces and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Montero will range from a base MSRP of $41,987 to a fully-loaded MSRP of $48,507. The vehicle comes equipped with a 5-speed Sportronic Active Trac transmission and Mitsubishi Active Skid and Traction Control (M-ASTC). Available options include power sunroof with tilt-feature, 315-watt premium audio system with seven speakers and rear air conditioning and heating with mid-cabin controls.
The MSRPs described above are MMSCAN’s suggested retail prices only. Dealer may sell for less. These MSRPs do not include destination and delivery charges, goods and services or provincial taxes and licence fees.
