Mississauga, Ontario – Mitsubishi will add a new vehicle to its lineup this fall, the all-new RVR compact CUV. Already on sale in Japan and Europe, the new model will reach Canadian showrooms in mid-October.
“The RVR opens up an all-new segment for Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada and answers the specific needs that many of our customers have underscored,” said president Kogi Soga. “At the same time, the Mitsubishi RVR is a unique combination of world-class design and performance while achieving environmental standards second to none.”
Smaller than the Mitsubishi Outlander, the RVR shares its stance and features, but with increased fuel efficiency. It uses a four-cylinder engine with five-speed manual transmission or six-speed CVT, along with available All-Wheel Control system. An energy-recycling regenerative braking system, drag-reducing electric steering and wind tunnel-tested aerodynamics contribute to its excellent fuel economy ratings. Premium features include active stability control and hill start assist, along with cutting-edge entertainment, driver’s aid technologies and advanced safety features.
