Mini sells 10,000 vehicles in Canada

Whitby, Ontario – Mini Canada has announced the sale of the 10,000th Mini in Canada, three and a half years after the first one debuted on March 22, 2002. Stephane Charbonneau of Montreal became the 10,000th owner in Canada when he took delivery yesterday of a dark silver Mini Cooper S.

To celebrate the milestone, Mini Canada will send Charbonneau and a guest to Misano, Italy to participate in the Mini United owner’s festival. Highlights will include the first-ever Mini Challenge World Finals, special Mini driver training sessions, live music, film screenings, dance shows, helicopter rides and stunt driving.
