Whitby, Ontario – Mini Canada announced today that the Mini Convertible will make its North American premiere at the Pacific International Auto Show (PIAS) at BC Place in Vancouver to be held from March 26 – April 4, 2004. The North American debut in Vancouver follows closely the recent World Premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Mini Convertible on display at the PIAS will be a 115 horsepower Mini Cooper.

The fully-automatic Z-mechanism soft roof has no manual catches or clamps and opens at the touch of a button, lowering in just 15 seconds. A special feature of the Mini Convertible’s roof is a sunroof function. The Mini Cooper Convertible will be available at Canadian retailers beginning in September 2004.
