Mercedes-Benz still Number One in image study
Stuttgart, Germany – Mercedes-Benz has improved on its leading position in the AutoMarxX image study carried out by Germany’s largest auto association, ADAC.
On an assessment scale of 1 (best) to 5 (worst), Mercedes-Benz attained an overall rating of 1.83 in the December survey (previously 2.11). Mercedes-Benz took first or second place in four of the six key categories, including brand image (1.8), market strength (2.2), product strength (1.5) and technology trends (1.2).
Mercedes-Benz has won the top ranking in five surveys since the introduction of this automobile index in September 2001.
With a total of 2,274 votes, Mercedes-Benz was the clear winner over BMW (1,995) and Audi (1,744).
The AutoMarxX brand rankings, which evaluate the performance of 32 automotive brands in Germany, are carried out by ADAC in cooperation with the Center of Automotive Research (CAR) at Gelsenkirchen Technical College.
