Mercedes-Benz opens third M-B Express service location in Greater Toronto Area

Toronto, Ontario – Mercedes-Benz Canada opened its third M-B Express service
location in the Greater Toronto Area on January 21, 2004. Located in Scarborough on
Kennedy Avenue, a few blocks north of Finch, Kennedy M-B Express follows the same
principle implemented in its sister locations on The Queensway in Etobicoke and Green Lane in Thornhill, both of which have been in operation for several years now.

This new location is part of the Mercedes-Benz group of nine sales and/or service
factory-owned and operated facilities in the GTA (soon to be ten with the addition
of a mid-town location at Eglinton/Laird).

Conveniently located with easy access from the 401 or the 407 highways, this service
point provides another alternative to the customers who currently service their
vehicle at the Markham and Downtown stores or who live/work in the north-east end of
the city.

M-B Express’ established drive-in/no appointment policy has been extremely
well-received by time-savvy customers who like the flexibility and convenience the
M-B Express concept offers them.

President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, Marcus Breitschwerdt comments, “Based on
the continuous positive customer feedback, the M-B Express concept has proven to be
a very good initiative. It thus made obvious sense for us to convert our previous
training centre (which has now been relocated to the new Head Office premises on
Vanderhoof Avenue) into a service location. The building’s infrastructure lent
itself perfectly to it and we are confident that this facility will further
complement the numerous servicing points we already have all across the Greater
Toronto Area.”
