Toronto, Ontario – Mercedes-Benz will further enhance its national Driving Academy for 2011 by adding all-new, full-day sessions that will begin in early January. The company is also adding new cities and several dates to the Canadian course roster planned for next year.
Operating in cities from coast to coast, the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy offers three different and informative courses throughout the year, including a half-day Driving Experience course, a full day on-track Mastering Performance course, and the new Winter Driving Academy. A range of twelve cars offers a chance to experience a broad range of vehicles, including some AMG models for each program and a Smart Fortwo in the Winter Driving Academy fleet.
The new winter training includes proper steering, vision and vehicle control along with mastering techniques to shorten stopping distances on slippery roads, maintaining traction and better understanding of the proper use of anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control.
