Toronto, Ontario – Mercedes-Benz Canada has announced the 2012 ML550 4MATIC and ML63 AMG, which will go on sale in February.

The ML550 will start at $75,700, while the ML63 AMG will start at $99,900. The ML550 uses a 4.6-litre bi-turbo engine producing 402 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, while the AMG version uses a 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8, making 518 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.

The next-generation ML63 AMG introduces the new Active Curve System, which uses active anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles to compensate for body roll angles during cornering, and ensures that the vehicle does not react to one-sided suspension movements caused by potholes or bumps. An available AMG Performance Package will add an additional 32 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque, a top speed of 280 km/h, a carbon fibre engine cover, AMG Performance steering wheel, and red brake calipers.
