Mercedes-Benz Canada offers subsidies to cash buyers to encourage them to buy in Canada

Toronto, Ontario – Mercedes-Benz Canada has announced that, effective immediately, it will offer a cash subsidy to buyers who prefer to pay cash or finance their vehicles with a third-party financial provider. The initiative will benefit customers who do not take advantage of the company’s lease and finance subsidies.

“Our entire product portfolio is very competitively priced,” says Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO. “In fact, the amount of standard equipment we have added to most models in the last two years actually represents a price reduction in excess of 10 percent. We also have competitive lease and finance rates and strong residuals which are corroborated by the stream of record sales we have been experiencing month after month this year.

“We are excited to now offer a subsidy to cash buyers as well, effective immediately and until further notice. This program will further convince consumers to buy our vehicles in Canada from our authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer network. I see this incentive coupled with the huge benefits of buying a car in Canada to be a win-win situation for our customers and prospects.”
