Mercedes-Benz announces refined G-Class
Stuttgart, Germany – Mercedes-Benz has announced refinements to its G-Class SUV, which will be available in the global market in mid-April and which is available by special order in Canada. The enhancements include a new instrument cluster, new steering wheel, modified centre console, and LED taillights.
The G-Class was first unveiled in 1979 and features outstanding off-road capabilities and excellent towing capacity.
The G320 CDI comes with a standard leather-trimmed steering wheel, while the G500 and G55 AMG use a wood and leather version. All models receive new console controls and switches for air conditioning and convenience functions; the G500 and G55 include COMAND APS control and display unit featuring a DVD navigation system, CD stereo and telephone keypad.
