Affalterbach, Germany – Mercedes-Benz has announced a new AMG sports package for the next-generation E-Class, combining several options including AMG body styling, more sportily-tuned suspension, special seats and an AMG ergonomic sports steering wheel.

The new body styling includes an AMG front apron with large air cooling inlets, chrome-ringed fog lamps, AMG rear apron and two oval chromed exhaust tailpipes, along with 18-inch light-alloy wheels and silver-painted brake calipers.

Models with automatic transmissions come with a 7G-TRONIC Sport version, with new wheel-mounted shift paddles that shorten acceleration times by up to 0.2 seconds.
