Troy, Michigan – The Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance show in Michigan has announced changes, including its name: it will now be known as the Concours d’Elegance of America.

The 2010 event is scheduled for July 25, 2010 at the Meadow Brook Estate, located on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The show was founded in 1977.

The board of directors has also announced that James McCarter, a Michigan native and newspaper publisher, has been named the event’s executive director.

The week of the 2010 show will also include RM Auction’s 16th annual Vintage Motor Cars of Meadow Brook sale, a motoring tour of vintage cars through Michigan’s Oakland County, and a gala celebration event. For more information, visit Concours d’Elegance.
