McDonald’s opens first drive-through restaurant and gas complex in China

Beijing, China – China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and McDonald’s China have jointly announced the opening of their first collaborative “drive-through” restaurant and gas station complex. It is the first step in the cooperation between the two companies, who formed a strategic alliance last June.

The restaurant is situated in Shahedong gas station in Changping District, Beijing, with dual access routes. Collaboratively designed and developed by Sinopec and McDonald’s, the restaurants are a whole new service model provided for customers.

According to senior managers, both companies will develop a number of well-decorated gas stations with drive-through restaurants in major domestic markets in China.
