Hatchback will make North American debut at Montreal Auto Show
Mazda has released a selection of images and a few details of the four-door version of the Mazda2. It’s scheduled to make a public debut at the Thailand International Motor Expo this Friday.
The Mazda2 sedan adds a trunk to the rump of Mazda’s sub-compact that will not be available in Canada. Instead, we will only have the hatchback in our market, which will be sold here as a 2016 model year vehicle.
Canada will also play host to the North American premiere of the Mazda2 hatchback in, to the surprise of nobody, Montreal.
The Montreal Auto Show has become the place for automakers to show off their cheap and cheerful sub-compacts. Last year, Mitsubishi revealed a sedan version of the Mirage. In 2012, Honda revealed the GEAR concept at the largest auto show in Quebec.
