Leverkusen, Germany – Mazda will introduce its MX-5 Superlight Version concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-September.

The show car is the company’s new take on its affordable roadster, and raises Mazda’s lightweight technology to a new level to improve driving performance, handling, fuel economy and CO2 emissions.

The Superlight features sporty chassis settings and no windshield for pure roadster driving fun.

Mazda will unveil the car at its press conference on September 15 at the 63rd annual show.
