Mazda to exhibit all-new CX-9 in New York

Richmond Hill, Ontario – Mazda has announced that it will showcase the new CX-9 seven-passenger crossover SUV at the New York International Auto Show, beginning April 12. It is the larger sibling to the CX-7 unveiled earlier this year in Detroit, and is the second vehicle designed and engineered specifically for the North American market.

The CX-9 is powered by a new 3.5-litre V6 with six-speed automatic transmission, and will be available in front- or all-wheel drive. It will be built in Japan and is expected in Canadian showrooms in December 2006.
