Stuttgart, Germany – The Maybach Exelero, a high-performance show car recently unveiled to the public in Berlin, has been handed over to Fulda Reifenwerke to be used as a reference vehicle for its newly-developed generation of wide tires.

The 700 hp, V12-powered Exelero is a unique custom model made for Fulda, and is a modern interpretation of Maybach’s streamlined sports cars from the 1930s, which were also used by Fulda for tire tests.

In initial tests in Italy, the Exelero reached a top speed of 351.45 km/h. It was built by prototype specialists at Stola in Turin, Italy; there are no plans to build it as a production vehicle.
