Marcos debuts 475 hp TSO GT2 sports coupe

London, England – Marcos Engineering Limited introduced their new Marcos TSO GT2 coupe at London’s Canary Wharf Motorexpo on Monday. The GT2 is a lightweight 475 horsepower V8-powered coupe. Pricing for the GT2 starts at just 49,995 British pounds.

“The TSO GT2 marks the return of the race bred Marcos coupe in modern
form”, said Tony Stelliga, Chairman of Marcos Engineering. “Our extensive Engineering efforts have produced an outstanding Grand Touring car with excellent track capabilities — and a new price/performance point in the industry.”

Weighing just 1150 kg, the GT2 can accelerate to 60 mph in 4 seconds and to 100 mph in 9 seconds with a top speed of 185 mph. The GT2’s 50/50 weight distribution provides balanced handling.

Customers can choose from a Sports Package that offers sports suspension and racing brakes, or a Touring Package that includes softer suspension and additional touring features.

The GT2 design team used styling cues from Marcos’ 45-year British motorsports heritage. This includes Sir Jackie Stewarts first win in
1961 — in the Marcos Gullwing coupe, numerous finishes at LeMans and the nineties British GT championship race car — the LM600.

The TSO GT2 is being showcased at London’s Canary Wharf Motorexpo from
June 13th through June 19th. Additional information can be obtained at www.marcos-eng.com
