Lincoln promotes Mark LT with basketball sponsorship

Dearborn, Michigan – Lincoln has announced it will be the presenting sponsor of CBS’s “Bracket Challenge” for the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Championship, and will give away a customized 2006 Lincoln Mark LT luxury pickup truck to one winner selected from the highest-scoring individuals.

A key feature to the challenge, added this year by Lincoln, will be running commentary and insights from NBA player Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who will make game picks and discuss his early favourites.

“The NCAA tournament has tremendous visibility. It’s one of the most watched sporting events of the year and is very popular with our Mark LT target audience,” said Tom Grill, marketing communications manager, Lincoln Mercury. “Lincoln’s sponsorship of CBS’s ‘Bracket Challenge’ provides us with an exciting new way to reach millions of potential customers for the Mark LT.”
