Oakville, Ontario – Lincoln has introduced its new MKT Town Car livery and limousine models at the International Limousine, Charter and Tour show in Las Vegas. The new model, which replaces the Lincoln Town Car for Ford livery customers, will be built at Ford’s plant in Oakville, Ontario.
The chauffeur-dedicated MKT Town Car models are designed specifically for fleet customers and will be available in two body styles, livery and limousine, with up to 35 more horsepower.
“Livery operators are looking for a leading livery solution that is reliable and stylish, and the new Lincoln livery and limousine solutions fit the bill in every capacity,” said Mark Fields, Ford president of The Americas. “The new MKT Town Car will be the best available in the livery industry, working off a solid base as the perfect way to achieve the versatility needed for executive transportation or a night out on the town.”
The new model uses a standard MKT chassis in front- or all-wheel drive. The heavy-duty limousine chassis with feature standard all-wheel drive for stretched-wheelbase limousine conversion of up to an additional 3,048 mm.
Key features in the new models include a USB charging port, 110-volt power socket in the rear centre seat console, WiFi hotspot capability, and audio system controls that are fully accessible to rear-seat passengers.
