Limited number of new Volkswagen Eos convertibles available for consumer test-drives

Auburn Hills, Michigan – The all-new 2007 Volkswagen Eos, which goes on sale this fall, has arrived at North American dealerships for a “sneak peak” and test-drives. The Eos features a five-panel roof that transforms from a hardtop coupe with integrated sunroof to an open convertible.
The Eos is available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder making 200 hp, and a 3.2-litre narrow-angle V6 engine. Standard features include electronic stability program, side head-thorax airbags, 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, fog lights, panoramic sunroof, power windows and cruise control.
Available features include a direct-shift gearbox (DSG) six-speed automatic transmission, automatic headlights, dual-zone climate control, 12-way power driver seat, trip computer, rain-sensing wipers and satellite radio.
