Kia to unveil new “cee’d” concept car
Seoul, South Korea – Kia will unveil a new concept car, the cee’d (pronounced “seed”), at the Geneva Auto Show at the end of this month. The concept is based on an all-new C-segment model which Kia will begin building at its first-ever European assembly plant in Slovakia, starting in December 2006.
The cee’d carries several of the core design elements of the Sorento SUV and the A-segment Picanto; the company says it is a new stage in Kia design. The cee’d will be shown alongside the all-new Carnival MPV (sold as the Sedona in North America) and the upgraded 2006 Sorento.
